We are a grassroots, nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting and expanding voting rights and defending democracy through education and advocacy.
Your support goes directly to the League’s work here in Carroll County, Maryland, helping our volunteers empower voters, defend democracy, and grow our local League.
Support Your 411 Voter Guide!
The 411 Voter Guides are an invaluable resource for every voter. In 2026, our League will once again provide comprehensive, nonpartisan voting information on federal, state, and local candidates and issues to help you make informed voting decisions.
As part of this effort, our League will submit questions to the local candidates for the Carroll County Elections, including those running for County Commissioner and Board of Education positions. All candidates—regardless of party affiliation—are invited and encouraged to participate.
Producing these guides involves printing and distribution costs. Your 411 donation helps to cover those expenses. Any remaining funds will go toward our operating fund, supporting our ongoing work in voter education and advocacy.
Your contribution ensures that voters in our community have access to trusted, nonpartisan election information. Thank you for your support!
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)
If you are retired and required to make an annual IRA Minimum Distribution, please know that we gratefully accept Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs). Your financial advisor can mail a check directly to the League, or you may contact us to receive our ACH details for an electronic transfer.
Donations of any amount, at any time, are always welcome and deeply appreciated. Your generosity helps sustain our League’s mission and supports the many dedicated volunteers who make our voter education and advocacy work possible.
